About this position
Description:
The Installer Helper works closely with an experienced Installer to ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards. This role requires physical labor, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn the window and door installation trade.
- Assist the Installer with loading, unloading, and carrying windows, doors, and materials to job sites
- Prepare work areas by setting up tools, equipment, and protective materials
- Support installation tasks such as removing old windows/doors, cleaning openings, holding materials in place, and applying sealants (as directed)
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Follow all safety instructions and PPE requirements
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Learn and grow toward becoming a full Installer
- Reliable, hardworking, and eager to learn
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work on ladders
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Prior construction or labor experience preferred but not required
- Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
