- Must have valid driver’s license with good driving record, motorcycle license is a plus.

Responsibilities
The lot porter position has a key role to the service and sales department’s efficiency. The responsibilities of the role are the following:
- Greet customers when in proximity.
- If service writers are busy, pleasantly engage the customer and assist as needed until a Service Advisor is available.
- Responsible for moving service department bikes in and out of service bays every day.
- Responsible for overall general housekeeping in all service-related interior and exterior spaces.
- Assisting technicians as directed by the Service Manager.
- Responsible for product cleanliness; wipe or wash (if needed) service vehicles before delivering to customers.
- Ability to assist in moving product from Department to another (set-up to showroom, for example).
- Ability to pick-up and deliver various customer and store vehicles using Company trucks and trailers of varying sizes. This requires maturity and the ability to maintain a safe and responsible driving record and drug-free certification.
- Ability to obtain and maintain motorcycle endorsed driver’s license.
- Able to work under close supervision of the Service Manager.
- Abide by all dealership policies pertaining to the department.
- Follow company dress codes and be well groomed at all times.
- Any other specific duties deemed necessary for the overall success of the department and the dealership as a whole.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with all other employees.
- Some technical and / or mechanical aptitude helpful and of course, solid communication skills.
- Gather information off the unit VIN/MILEAGE/COLOR/MAKE/MODEL/any DAMAGE as needed or directed.
- Service Manager or Advisor will send porter to fetch the “next-up” service job for tech.
- As needed, quickly pressure wash the unit: Before it's put in line to be worked on, so it has time to dry.
- Stage vehicle conveniently where each tech knows what’s next in line for him to work on
- Gather any parts pending for that job from parts dept and stage with the unit next-up.
