WA Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor
Reports to: Regional Manager
**$1,000 Signing Bonus - Paid out after 60 Days of Employment!**
Job Summary:
Calibrate Property Management is looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor who will be responsible for ensuring our WA portfolio is in excellent condition. This role oversees the maintenance team at 4 locations, handles complex repairs, and ensures safety compliance is up to date. Reliable transportation is a must. This role will require travel between locations, with Seattle/Des Moines being the 'home base.'
Duties/Responsibilities:
Supervise and delegate tasks to the maintenance team.
Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and resolve issues.
Manage and resolve complex maintenance repairs involving electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliances.
Coordinate and oversee vendor services when specialized skills are required.
Ensure the timely completion of work orders and resident maintenance requests.
Train and mentor maintenance staff to enhance skills and performance.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Maintain inventory of tolls, equipment, and supplies.
Work closely with property management team to ensure resident satisfaction and timely communication regarding maintenance matters.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Proficient in the safe use of hand and power tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
(5+) years of experience in a maintenance role, particularly with multi-family housing.
(3+) years of experience in a supervisory role.
Work Environment:
This is an active position with sporadic periods of sitting. You will be on your feet most of the day (with the exception of breaks) in and out of common areas and residential units. This role will require frequent interaction with other staff members and residents.
Physical Demands:
Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Regularly lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds.
Ability to work in various outdoor weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, etc.
Frequently required to climb ladders, balance at high heights, and navigate tight spaces.
Manual dexterity to operate tools and equipment.
Close, distance, and peripheral vision, with depth perception and ability to adjust focus, is necessary.
Ability to tolerate exposure to dust, chemicals, fumes, and other environmental factors.
Occasionally required to drive maintenance vehicles or equipment.
