Retail Store Associate (Multiple Positions Available)

Goodwill is hiring motivated, customer-focused team members to support our retail store operations. Whether you enjoy working with donors, preparing merchandise, or assisting customers at checkout, we have a role for you.

• Retail Donation Attendant / Donor Greeter
• Donations Pricer
• Sorter / Hanger
• Cashier

*Full-time and part-time opportunities available.

Retail Donation Attendant / Donor Greeter

• Greet donors promptly and professionally
• Assist with unloading donations and provide tax receipts
• Sort and organize donations by category
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized donation area
• Promote Goodwill’s mission and provide excellent customer service
• Report safety or equipment concerns as needed

Donations Pricer

• Sort donations into saleable, salvage, and trash categories
• Price merchandise using established guidelines
• Stock and rotate merchandise on the sales floor
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Meet daily production goals (“Goodwill River”)
• Deliver excellent customer and donor service

Sorter/Hanger

• Sort clothing into boutique, saleable, and salvage categories
• Inspect items for stains, tears, or damage
• Tag, size, and hang apparel (60+ pieces per hour goal)
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Stay familiar with brands and pricing trends
• Support sales floor and dressing room upkeep

Cashier

• Provide excellent customer service in person and by phone
• Operate register and handle transactions accurately
• Ask customers to “Round Up” in support of our mission
• Maintain a clean checkout area and sales floor
• Assist with merchandising and promotions
• Follow all safety and security policies

What You Need

• A positive, friendly attitude and strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn different store functions (training provided).
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 25–40 lbs depending on the task.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to work evenings and weekends.
