Jr. Accountant

What You’ll Do

• Accounting Processing and Reconciliation (internal and external services)
  1. Process cash receipts and assist in verifying and reconciling credit card and EFT payments.
  2. Review bank transactions and statements, verifying reconciliation to the ledger timely.
  3. Assist in the A/P process, verifying validity and accuracy of payments and expenses.
  4. Assist in processing items like commissions, return premium, and claims.
  5. Prepare and submit positive pay files.
  6. Assist Senior Accounting Manager/Controller with monthly/quarterly workpaper preparation.
  7. Assist with data analysis and recurring data analytics.
• Development of leadership skills
  1. Help to foster an open and collaborative work environment.

What We Are Looking For

• College degree in accounting or finance
• Proficient interpersonal, organizational and time management skills. 
• Efficient written and verbal communication skills.

This position is being hired with a flexible working location and may be filled at either an entry or skilled level, commensurate with experience.
