Job Title: Paralegal
Location: Baltimore, MD. This is a hybrid role with 3-days per week required to be worked in the Baltimore, MD office.

Reports To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Type: Full-Time
Hours of work: Typical hours of work are from 8:30 AM until 5:30 PM local time Monday through Friday. Flexibility of Working Hours dependent on location. Additional hours may be necessary as needed. This position is exempt from overtime.
Compensation: $65,000 - $85,000 annually (commensurate with experience)

Position Summary
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to support our Legal and Finance teams by managing commercial contracts, maintaining legal documentation, and strengthening our contract and compliance operations.
This role will focus on customer, partner, and vendor agreements, including Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Technology Service Agreements (TSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Business Associate Agreements (BAAs), Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), and related amendments. You will also serve as a key operational partner across Legal, Finance, Sales, and Operations – helping ensure contracts are well-organized, risks are identified, and obligations are clearly understood and tracked.
Key Responsibilities
- Contract Management & Commercial Support
o Manage the contract lifecycle, including intake, review, execution, tracking, renewals, and record keeping in a centralized repository
o Review, revise, and manage MSAs, TSAs, SOWs, BAAs, DPAs, and related agreements in accordance with company standards and legal guidelines
o Ensure accuracy and consistency across agreements (pricing, scope, term, SLAs, deliverables)
o Summarize key contract terms (renewals, termination, liability, data use, notice periods, etc.)
o Identify non-standard terms or deviations from templates and escalate risks to counsel or leadership as appropriate
o Support Sales and Finance with redlines, version control, and contract coordination
o Partner with implementation and operations teams to surface operationally relevant contract terms
- Contract Operations, Templates, & Process Improvement
o Maintain standard contract templates, clause libraries, and playbooks
o Support improvements to contract lifecycle management, tracking, reporting, and accessibility
o Assist with audit redlines and contract-related compliance requests
- Vendor, Compliance & Legal Operations
o Manage vendor agreements, NDAs, and insurance documentation; track certificates of insurance and contractual insurance requirements
o Support SOC 2, HIPAA, and security/compliance documentation efforts
o Maintain records related to data privacy, regulatory, and corporate obligations
o Assist with Maintain corporate records, governance filings, and legal questionnaires
o Perform other legal and administrative tasks to support the Legal team and business
Qualifications
Required
- Paralegal certificate or Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
- 3–7 years of paralegal experience (corporate, contracts, SaaS, healthcare, or technology experience preferred)
- Experience reviewing, summarizing, and managing commercial contracts
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, Operations, and external counsel
- Experience with contract management systems or document repositories preferred
Preferred
- Familiarity with SaaS agreements, HIPAA/BAA concepts, or data privacy terms is a plus
- Experience supporting a Legal team in a regulated industry
- Self-starter mindset with strong follow-through and process orientation
