About this position
ROLE
- Develop and maintain a complete quality system by implementing the necessary procedures and processes in order to maintain our reputation for quality in the market and thus contribute to the sustainability of the company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure compliance with current quality standards and customer satisfaction.
- Analyze quality control data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to resolve quality issues and prevent their recurrence.
- Coordinate the implementation and maintenance of the ISO 9001-45001 Standard.
- Train staff on procedures and quality standards to ensure proper understanding and compliance.
- Manage processes for handling non-conformities and customer complaints, identifying root causes and implementing appropriate corrective actions.
- Educate employees about the importance of quality and encourage a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
- Supervise and supervise a team of quality technicians.
- Support production by acting as a resource person on what is acceptable or not and by maintaining an active presence on the floor to ensure compliance with the procedures in place by the various stakeholders.
- Work closely with production teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
REQUIREMENTS (Education – Experience – Skills)
Education
- Studies in management and quality assurance OR equivalent studies.
Experience
- Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience related to this position and preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in a unionized environment (asset).
Skills
- Good organizational and priority management skills.
- Good knowledge of ISO 9001 - 45001
- Bilingualism (Intermediate).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team and to obtain the cooperation of others.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Stands out for his leadership and dynamism.
