Position Overview
SRCOG LLC DBA Shining Rock Golf Club is seeking a dependable, motivated, and team-oriented Line Cook to join our culinary team. The Seasonal Line Cook plays a critical role in delivering a high-quality food experience for our members and guests across daily dining, tournaments, private events, and special functions. This position requires consistency, attention to detail, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
Seasonal positions are defined as roles inside of our primary season of April 20th- October 19th 2026.
Part Time Roles are roles that work less than 29 hours a week
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Set up and stock assigned stations with necessary supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstation throughout shift
- Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards
- Assist with banquet and tournament food preparation as needed
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines (ServSafe standards preferred)
- Properly store and label food items to maintain freshness and compliance
- Assist with receiving deliveries and rotating inventory
- Work collaboratively with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service
- Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times
Qualifications
- Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred (restaurant, club, or banquet environment)
- Strong understanding of basic cooking techniques
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- ServSafe certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
