What would my hours look like?

Full Time

8 hour shift

Monday-Friday

Saturday's on a situational basis

Salary: $19 - $29 per hour

Location: Weed Man Myrtle Beach, SC

Average earners make $24 - $27 per hour

This is broken down by Hourly + Commission

The Role of a Lawn Care Technician:

• Market our products and services to potential customers
• Obtain names and phone numbers of potential customers.
• Distribute necessary promotional material
• Meet with current and prospective customers and exceed customer service standards
• Provide lawn care quotes
• Generate field sales (additional commission rewarded)
• Observe and report lawn conditions to customers
• Complete daily truck checkout procedures
• Get and maintain your pesticide applicator license
• Drive company vehicles
• Clear communication with your team and/or supervisor
• Provide professional lawn care services to customers, including applications of fertilizer, lime, weed, insect, disease, grub, mole & mosquito control, aeration, and seeding.
• Perform lawn analyses, including measuring the turf, identifying lawn problems, and identifying accurate pricing for services.
• Communicate with customers as the front-line contact between homeowners and your Weed Man office.
• Properly and safely maintain equipment.
• Safely and knowledgeably handle, mix, transport, and apply chemical products.
• Complete assigned daily work, associated paperwork, and administrative requirements related to the position.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Have a clean criminal record
• Legal documentation to verify employment eligibility
• Clear verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work 8-10 hours per day (including some Saturdays during peak season)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds (8-10 hours per day)
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
• Adhere to company policies which can be found in the employee handbook (i.e., drug, alcohol, tobacco, cell phone, attendance, etc.)
• Self-motivated and will initiate action when needed
• Requires minimum supervision, but knows when to ask for assistance
• Accepts feedback from fellow team members
