Today, Súp Noodle Bar proudly serves guests at its locations in Buena Park and Irvine.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, friendly, and service-minded Host/Hostess to join the front-of-house team at SUP Noodle Bar in Irvine, CA. As the first point of contact for our guests, your role is vital in creating a warm, welcoming, and positive dining experience.
Responsibilities:
Greet incoming and departing guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact
Escort guests to their tables and present menus
Communicate server introductions and promotions to guests
Manage seating flow for dining room, bar, and patio; provide accurate wait times
Prioritize guests with reservations and ensure smooth hand-offs to service staff
Answer incoming calls professionally and assist with guest inquiries
Monitor and support guest needs throughout their visit
Assist with table settings, clearing, water refills, and occasional food running
Maintain adherence to safety, sanitation, and alcohol policies
Support teammates with additional duties as needed, including light prep work
Schedule:
Day shifts / Night shifts
Weekend availability required
Availability on holidays required
Expected to meet the minimum standard working hours as set by the company*
Qualifications:
6 months to 1 year of experience in a full-service restaurant preferred
Host/Hostess experience required
Food Handler Card and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification (training provided if needed)
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Strong communication skills with the ability to hear and speak clearly in a busy environment
Positive, outgoing, and team-oriented attitude
Flexible and adaptable schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Attention to detail and adherence to sanitation standards
Passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Professional demeanor and excellent phone etiquette
