| Summary of Job Description |
| The Account Executive – Commercial HVAC is responsible for driving technical sales and providing expert HVAC solutions to commercial and industrial clients. This role combines engineering knowledge with sales strategies to identify client needs, design custom HVAC solutions, and manage the sales process from start to finish. This role will collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality, cost-effective results that exceed client expectations. |
| Essential Duties, Roles & Responsibilities |
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within commercial and industrial HVAC markets.
- Evaluate client needs and develop customized HVAC solutions.
- Prepare and present proposals, technical drawings, and cost estimates to potential clients.
- Work closely with engineering, project management, and service teams to ensure technical accuracy and feasibility of proposed solutions.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while developing new accounts.
- Conduct site visits, surveys, and system assessments as part of the sales process.
- Deliver compelling presentations to decision-makers, showcasing company capabilities and solutions.
- Negotiate project scope, pricing, and timelines with clients to close profitable deals.
- Track sales activities and prepare regular pipeline and performance reports.
- Stay current with industry standards, new technologies, and local building codes.
Position Requirements:
| Qualifications, Education & Training |
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred, HVAC Technology, or a related technical field.
- 5 years of experience in HVAC sales, estimating, or engineering.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, designs, controls, and mechanical principles.
- Proven ability to develop sales strategies and close deals in a competitive market.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of AutoCAD or estimating software a plus.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical specifications, and mechanical drawings.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license with willingness to travel locally for client visits and job walks.
