About the Role:

Forbo Movement Systems is seeking an experienced and driven Warehouse & Logistics Manager to lead the launch of a new warehouse facility and oversee logistics operations across multiple U.S. sites. This key leadership role manages all aspects of warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping & receiving, transportation, driving efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement throughout the supply chain. The manager leads departmental teams to optimize workflow, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain performance. They collaborate closely with customer service, operations, planning, procurement, production, and logistics teams to align material availability with operational demands.

What You’ll Do

• Lead planning and execution of the new warehouse setup, including layout design, process development, and system integration.
• Manage daily warehouse, shipping, receiving, and transportation operations for a team of ~17 employees, including direct oversight of the Shipping & Receiving Manager.
• Maintain high inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reconciliations, and SLOB reduction strategies.
• Oversee domestic and international shipments, including import/export documentation, carrier management, and compliance.
• Utilize SAP to manage material movements, shipping activities, and inventory accuracy; identify and implement process improvements.
• Coordinate logistics performance across multiple sites for consistency and efficiency.
• Apply Lean principles and continuous improvement tools to enhance safety, material flow, and productivity.
• Evaluate carrier and supplier quotations, analyze cost structures, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Track and improve KPIs across warehouse performance, transportation, and total logistics cost.
• Foster a culture of accountability and teamwork through coaching, communication, and leadership development.
  

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or a related field (preferred).
• 8–10 years of warehouse and logistics management experience in a manufacturing environment (required).
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on SAP experience (MM/WM modules required). 
• Proven success managing new facility startups or large-scale logistics projects. 
• Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate data, supplier proposals, and cost structures. 
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with internal and external partners. 
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
•  Hands-on leadership style with a focus on problem-solving, efficiency, and team development.
•  Experience applying Lean, 5S, or continuous improvement methodologies.

Preferred Experience 

• Oversight of multi-site warehouse and logistics operations.
•  Familiarity with warehouse automation or advanced material handling systems. 
• Knowledge of OSHA and warehouse safety standards.
