About this position
The Yardi Support Specialist is responsible for providing functional and technical support for Yardi Voyager and related platforms across the organization. This role serves as a primary point of contact for Yardi system support, user administration, training, and accounting-related processes, as well as basic IT onboarding for new hires. The ideal candidate has strong Yardi experience, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to support accounting, operations, and property management teams.

Key Responsibilities
Yardi Support & Helpdesk
• Provide day-to-day Yardi support via Helpdesk phone and email
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within Yardi Voyager and related Yardi modules
• Coordinate with Yardi Support to resolve complex system issues
User Administration & New Hire Setup
• Set up new hires in Yardi Voyager and related Yardi platforms, including Rent Café, Yardi CRM, Yardi One, and Yardi eLearning
• Create and manage Microsoft 365 user accounts, including email setup and access to basic Microsoft applications (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
• Perform basic computer and system setup for new hires
• Maintain user security, roles, and access across systems
Training & Documentation
• Conduct monthly virtual Yardi training sessions and occasional in-person training
• Create and maintain Yardi training manuals, job aids, and/or training videos
• Serve as a subject matter expert for Yardi best practices and system usage
Accounting & Month-End Support
• Create and maintain market rent increase worksheets and enter approved increases
• Assist with pre-close and month-end corrections in Yardi
• Support AP/AR close processes
• Maintain and update GL Accounts
• Provide Yardi bank reconciliation support
• Assist with CRPs and 1099 processing
Payment Processing & Banking Administration
• Administer payment processing and banking functions, including:
o New bank account setup in Yardi Voyager, Client Central, ProfitStars, and related systems
o Research and resolution of NSF activity, failed payments, and credit card disputes
o Communication of payment activity and reports to property teams
o Coordination and rollout of bank account updates
Budgeting, Forecasting & Property Support
• Create and maintain Yardi budget worksheets and Forecast Manager files
• Imports annual and quarterly property budgets and reforecasts
• Maintain budget documentation and provide ongoing support
Third-Party Platform Administration
• Administer Intranet platform via SharePoint, including user setup and maintenance
• Support Conservice/Synergy with new property setup and GL updates

Qualifications
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Yardi required
• Strong understanding of property accounting processes (AP, AR, month-end close)
• Experience supporting multiple users and properties
• Experience with user onboarding and basic Microsoft 365 administration
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to train users with varying levels of system knowledge
