ECMO Specialist - up to $128,000 per year


Location: Greater Washington DC area

Job Description:


ECMO Specialists provide bedside critical care assistance to patients receiving ECMO therapy within Integration Health customer facilities. The ECMO Specialist has a functional understanding of extracorporeal life support (ECLS), and mechanical circulatory support (MCS), and will participate in required Integration Health training for continuing education and experience.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of one year direct ECMO experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. An Associate degree with 2-3 years of ECLS experience will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Maintain unencumbered professional license (RN, RRT, CCP).
  • Maintain advanced credentials as applicable to each profession. 
  • Maintain AHA credentials in BLS and ACLS


Physical Requirements: 

  • Must be able to effectively communicate and perform in stressful situations. 
  • Must be able to stand, walk, see, hear, read, speak, and write for prolonged periods without accommodations. 
  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. 
  • Must be able to move or reposition patients of any weight or size with assistance.
