The Scholarship Coordinator at Saint Elizabeth University manages the critical intersection between donor intent and student support. This role is responsible for the comprehensive administration of the University’s donor-funded scholarship programs. By ensuring a seamless application and awarding process, the Coordinator helps the University fulfill its commitment to student success and donor stewardship.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Scholarship Administration

Manage the end-to-end process for donor-funded scholarships, including application setup, promotion, selection, awarding, and renewal cycles.Maintain and audit scholarship data, eligibility criteria, and award records within both the student information and advancement systems.Ensure all awards are made in strict accordance with established scholarship terms and institutional policies.

 

Coordination & Compliance

Coordinate scholarship review committees to facilitate fair, timely, and policy-compliant selection decisions.Serve as the primary liaison between donors, advancement staff, financial aid, and academic units regarding scholarship terms and stewardship requirements.Monitor student eligibility throughout the academic year to ensure ongoing compliance for scholarship renewals.

 

Stewardship & Communication

Collaborate with the Advancement team to provide donors with updates on scholarship recipients and the impact of their philanthropy.Assist in the collection of thank-you letters and other stewardship materials from scholarship recipients.Respond to inquiries from students and faculty regarding scholarship opportunities and application procedures.

 

Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000

 

 

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required.Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in higher education administration, financial aid, or nonprofit stewardship is required.Exceptional organizational skills and high attention to detail for managing complex data sets.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to act as a bridge between diverse departments and external donors.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel for data management and auditing.

 

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with student information systems (SIS) or donor management databases.Familiarity with financial aid regulations and scholarship awarding best practices.Proven ability to manage committee-based decision-making processes.
