VA in Danville, IL

THE SHORT: 1 or 2 CRNAs for the VA in Danville IL | no call, no wknds, no holidays | CRNA only practice | any state license | $260/hr.

THE LONG: We’ve had an exclusive Government contract at the VA in Danville, IL, since August 2022. One CRNA has been there since the beginning. Per regulations, the VA must re-compete after a certain time, so here we are!

LOCATION: VA Illiana Health Care System, 1900 E Main St, Danville, IL 61832

START: This is due to the VA before Dec 5th. With the holidays and credentialing, a start date of Feb 15th, 2025, is likely (with leeway for any notification to your current employer)

DURATION: 2 years, likely continuing after that (Note: 2 years is a contract between us and the Government. Like any other job, if life means you must leave, you just give us 60-day notice).

COMPENSATION:
  • $260/hr. all inclusive, 1099
  • 11 Federal Holidays + all weekends off = $518k compensation
  • Example: Every week off is worth $10,400 (40hrs x $260), so if you took 6-8 weeks off, you earn $456k - $435k
  • We cover Med Mal (claims made + 3yr tail)

SCHEDULE:
  • M-F
  • No call, No weekends, No holidays
  • Normal work schedule is 40 hours per week (minus weeks with holidays), 8 hours per day. One position is 7:00 – 3:30 and one position is 7:30 - 4:00 with a ½ hour unpaid lunch break.
  • Note: Current CRNA is working 7:30 – 4:00 shift but is amenable to switching.
  • Request vacation/time off just like you would with any other job (earlier the better)

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Any state license
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the last 10 years
  • Must be able to pass Government background security check (no record of criminal offenses or substantiated incidents of patient abuse)

DEPARTMENT / HOSPITAL:
  • This is a small hospital that functions like a same day surgery center (no ER, ICU, OB, etc.) with B&B cases (general, endo, eyes, urology, podiatry).
  • All CRNA practice.
  • Great OR team
  • 1-6 cases per day for the department
