About this position
Description:
We are seeking friendly, professional, and detail-oriented Banquet Servers to join our team. As a Banquet Server, you will play a key role in ensuring exceptional service for our guests at weddings, corporate events, and private gatherings. This role requires excellent customer service skills, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table settings, buffet stations, and decorations.
- Greet guests in a courteous and professional manner, providing prompt and attentive service.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the event, including clearing tables and replenishing food or drink stations.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Assist with post-event breakdown, including packing up linens, stacking chairs, and resetting the space as needed.
- Work collaboratively with the banquet team, kitchen staff, and event coordinators to ensure seamless event execution.
- Address guest requests or concerns promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
- Previous banquet or restaurant serving experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be at least 16 and have or be willing to obtain necessary certifications (e.g., food handler’s permit, alcohol service certification).
