DEPARTMENT | ROLE DESCRIPTION:
The Loan Processing Associate (Loan Processor Assistant) plays a vital role in supporting the loan processing team to ensure mortgage loan applications are processed efficiently and accurately from initial submission to closing. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to coordinate with internal teams, lenders, and clients to ensure a seamless loan approval process.

RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO):
Loan Application & Documentation Review:
- Review loan applications for completeness and accuracy before submitting to underwriting.
- Collect, organize, and verify borrower documentation, ensuring compliance with investor and regulatory requirements.
- Follow up with loan officers, borrowers, and third parties to obtain missing documents and resolve discrepancies.
- Assists with FHA and VA Case Number Assignments and Transfers.
Title & Appraisal Coordination:
- Confirm receipt of title order requests from attorneys and title companies.
- Review and verify title documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Helps monitor appraisal orders, ensure timely completion, and review for any discrepancies.
- Underwriting Support & Conditional Approval Coordination:
- Assist in preparing loan files for underwriting, ensuring all required documents are included.
- Process and submit conditions required for final loan approval, working closely with underwriters and loan officers.
- Maintain accurate records and update loan origination systems as needed.
Clear-to-Close (CTC) Preparation:
- Review Undisclosed Debt and Fraud Reports to identify any potential risks.
- Verify borrower employment, self-employment documentation, W-2 income, and asset statements.
- Ensure all final loan processing steps are completed before closing and confirm all compliance requirements are met.
Communication & Compliance:
- Maintain open communication with loan officers, underwriters, and borrowers throughout the loan process.
- Ensure compliance with all mortgage regulations, investor guidelines, and company policies.
- Keep accurate records and documentation in the loan origination system.

- 2+ year's customer service experience
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of mortgage guidelines (FHA, VA, and Conventional)
- Proficiency with loan processing systems and mortgage-related software.
