This role is pivotal in building strong relationships with retailers and wholesalers, driving sales growth, and ensuring effective execution of sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will excel in team leadership, market expansion, and process optimization while meeting ambitious revenue and distribution targets. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

  • Sales Strategy and Execution : Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve regional revenue and market share targets. 
  • Identify and engage key retail and wholesale accounts to maximize sales opportunities. Ensure proper in-store product placement, promotions, and visibility to drive customer engagement. 
  • Team Leadership and Development: Recruit, manage, and develop a high-performing sales team, assigning territories to optimize geographic coverage and minimize travel costs. Provide training and coaching to enhance team skills in technical, behavioral, and communication areas. 
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture. 
  • Sales Process Optimization: Validate and optimize sales processes to ensure efficiency and consistency across customer segments. 
  • Establish and implement standardized sales protocols that align with company objectives. 
  • Distributor and Wholesaler Management : Negotiate contracts with wholesalers and manage distribution to ensure product availability. 
  • Build strong partnerships with distributors to enhance market reach and delivery efficiency. 
  • Market Analysis and Planning: Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies. 
  • Develop and execute regional sales plans aligned with overall business goals. 
  • Budget Management : Oversee trade spending, headcount allocation, and operational expenses to achieve financial targets. 
  • Manage budgets effectively to maximize return on investment (ROI). 
  • Business Expansion Support: Collaborate with Business Unit leadership to develop and implement regional growth initiatives.
