The Room Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting the sales team in a variety of tasks to bring in business and generate revenue. The Room Sales Coordinator should be highly organized with the ability to effectively multitask.

Responsibilities & Duties
- Bring energy, enthusiasm, and laser-sharp focus to every client interaction, from solicitation and first contact to checkout and follow-up.
- Demonstrate exemplary communication skills – written, over the phone, and in-person – and a fast, effective response rate with both social and corporate clients.
- Step up to the challenge of going out on sales calls and pitching to new clients.
- Juggle a wide range of demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Pitch in and help co-workers to support the team.
- Organize and coordinate vendor information
- Go the extra mile to make clients feel welcome, informed, and cared for.
Compensation and Benefits include:
- This position offers a starting rate that ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of sales experience, cold-calling a plus.
- Familiar with the hospitality industry.
- Proficient in using MS Office
- Prior hotel experience preferred
- Willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
- Reliable transportation is essential; traveling domestically is a requirement.
- Experience with property management systems (PMS) and Sales Force is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
