Job Title:  Facilities and Maintenance Coordinator

Salary:  $25.00

Job Description/Summary

The Facilities and Maintenance Coordinator oversees maintenance, repairs, procurement of materials and supplies; schedules, coordinates and oversees third party vendors and contracted services; project manages facility improvements, repairs, and maintenance at each PBHG location, performing hands-on work at the properties, both indoors and outdoors. The Facilities and Maintenance Coordinator ensures that the facilities are safe, functional, in compliance with codes and regulations, and well-main

Responsibilities

  • Day to day facility operations including maintenance, repairs, upgrades, work requests.
  • Oversee multiple 3rd party vendors.
  • Obtain bids for projects and equipment.
  • Oversee HVAC systems.
  • Respond to emergencies during and after normal work hours.

Competencies

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • English language proficiency for communication with coworkers and to follow safety protocols.
  • Proficient in the use of technology for record keeping and communication.
  • Excellent time-management, organization and prioritization abilities and efficient problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

  • Education - High School Diploma + technical or vocational education
  • License - Valid NJ Driver's License in good standing
  • Experience - 3 or more years of progressively responsible related experience
