About this position

JOB SUMMARY

Direct Payroll & Billing Supervisor is responsible for supervising the direct payroll & billing coordinator team and ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of payroll and billing for the assigned regions.  Directs and coordinates the overall functions of all personnel within the assigned team. Ensures timely and accurate transmission of weekly external payroll and billing in accordance with company policies & procedures.

        REPORTING

  • Data entry of timecards in accordance with company policies and procedures and related laws and regulations
  • Prepares and delivers accurate client invoices on a weekly basis
  • Resolves all payroll and billing issues, both externally and internally
  • Oversees the ongoing maintenance, accuracy, completeness and consistency of the external ADP database and TSS  

 

COMPLIANCE

  • Accurately computes all gross wages, hours, OT, pay rates, compensation adjustment forms, differentials, etc. in accordance with company standards and all applicable laws and regulations
  • Meets all payroll and billing deadlines on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis

 

SUPERVISION

  • Oversees a team of payroll/billing coordinators
  • Maintains appropriate staffing levels to ensure all departmental and company deadlines are met
  • Performs performance evaluations, training and mentoring in accordance with GHR standards and policies 
  • Perform other duties and assignments as directed by the Management team

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES

  • 1 -2 years of related experience 
  • Proficient computer skills including a working knowledge of Excel, Word and other various accounting software
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and listening skills necessary
  • Strong decisionmaking skills
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Experience in ADP Workforce Now a plus
  • Excellent analytical and issue resolution skills necessary
