Job Description:
EcoSARC stands for Ecological Sustainability and Resiliency Committee. The principal responsibility for this student worker position will be to monitor and organize materials and supplies in the ArtCycle Center. This student will also aid in the E-Waste Events that occur each semester. They will support the collections of campus glass waste and supply waste through regularly scheduled donation bin campaigns. This worker will also maintain a social media presence for the KCAI artcycle account.
Duties will include:
*Organizing and documenting the materials that go into the ArtCycle Center in the Underground
*Adding images/information about ArtCycle to the kcai.artcycle Instagram account
*Contribute to the student club for ArtCycle in the form of publicity, digital documentation, and social media presence
*Collecting glass recycling from departments and taking it to a Ripple recycling dumpster, or passing the collection to another person for further donation
Qualifications/Skills Needed:
A passion for the philosophy of Reduce-Reuse-Recycle.
Self-motivated
Reliable
Organized
Comfortable interacting with people
Able to lift at least 25 pounds
