About the Role:

The Accountant II position at the Main Admin Office in MAD is a critical role responsible for managing and overseeing complex accounting functions to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory standards. This role involves preparing detailed financial statements, reconciling accounts, and analyzing financial data to support strategic decision-making. The Accountant II will collaborate closely with other departments to streamline accounting processes and improve financial controls. Additionally, this position requires maintaining up-to-date knowledge of accounting principles and regulations to ensure the organization's financial integrity. Ultimately, the Accountant II will contribute to the organization's financial health by delivering precise and timely accounting information.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of professional accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.
  • Previous experience working in a corporate or administrative office environment.
  • Advanced skills in financial analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing financial analysis to support management decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors during audits and financial reviews.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
