  • Performs routine and complex Polysomnographic recordings using their understanding of the technical aspects of equipment used in monitoring, and recognizes parameters used in recording. Technologist perform PSG and CPAP/BiPAP testing in an efficient and effective manner, providing quality care to all patients. The Polysomnographic Technologist demonstrates a willingness to assist others, work well with minimal supervision, and have strong, independent judgment. The Polysomnographic Technologist uses department and hospital-wide policies and procedures during the provision of patient care, and is accountable for improving job knowledge and skills.

  • We have opportunities to work under the full scope of practice as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist throughout our system.
  • Registered Polysomnographic Technologist roles require one of: RPGST or RST or SDS

Qualifications

Required:
  • One of: RPGST or RST or SDS

Desired:
  • One year in a sleep medicine setting
  • Diploma
  • Polysomnographic Technologist OR Registered Sleep Technologist OR Sleep Disorders Specialty (National)
