Reports To: Line Maintenance Manager
POSITION PURPOSE:
DTS Maintenance has positions open with our expanding 145 Operations, and is excited to introduce our Scheduled and On-Demand Line Maintenance for Customer Aircraft. Successful candidate will Supervise Scheduled and On-Demand Line Maintenance Services for a variety of heavy category aircraft including B727, B737, and B777.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  1. Responsible for all station personnel concerning administrative requirements, training schedules, work performance, and compliance with Company policies and procedures in the Maintenance RSM, Operator and Manufacturer manuals, FAA and EASA regulatory data .
  2. Develop and maintain sound personnel and labor relations, employee safety awareness, and open communication within the department.
  3. Supervise/Coordinate Scheduled and On-Demand Line maintenance work on a variety of heavy category aircraft including B727, B737, and B777.
  4. Demonstrate a strong command of aircraft systems.
  5. Effectively perform assigned duties to meet departure deadlines and performance goals; Including efficient utilization of personnel under his/her supervision and coordination with required management personnel to ensure effective completion of maintenance, preventative maintenance, alteration, and repair of aircraft and ground support equipment.
  6. Supervise/Perform troubleshooting of aircraft systems; Repair, components and/or appliances in order to maintain aircraft in an airworthy condition according to Regulatory Authorities and Approved Technical Data.
  7. Effectively and professionally communicate and/or coordinate with the air carrier's maintenance center as required.
  8. Must pass airport security background checks and travel for work as required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  1. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; some college and/or technical school desirable
  2. Must have a Current Valid Driver's License
  3. Required - a current valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant License.
  4. 2 years (minimum) of experience supervising work on one or more of the following aircraft in a line maintenance environment: B727, B737, and/or B777.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
  1. Ability to read, write and understand spoken and written English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to give verbal and written direction to assigned staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
