Qualified candidates will possess the minimum academic credentials and licensure that qualify for Medicaid reimbursement in the state of Kansas. Preference will be given to those who possess or are able to obtain SUD licensure (LAC/LCAC).

SUMMARY
ELC's Mental Health Therapist will provide assessment and treatment services to adults and children for both mental health and substance abuse clients.
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop initial assessments and formulating treatment plans
  • Conduct a variety of treatment approaches including group, individual, and family therapy
  • Prepare reports
  • Maintain appropriate records
  • Meet direct service expectations
  • Meet deadlines for daily paperwork and reports
  • Provide quality documentation
  • Maintain proper confidentiality
  • Comply with ELC policies and procedures
To be considered, applicants must meet the minimum qualifications to practice outpatient mental health therapy in the state of Kansas. Clinical licensure is preferred. Candidates must also be able to successfully pass all required background checks.
