Summer Playground Senior Counselor:The Senior Counselor is a leadership role responsible for supervising campers, mentoring junior counselors, and helping ensure a safe, positive, and engaging playground experience. Senior Counselors model professionalism, teamwork, and enthusiasm while supporting indoor and outdoor playground operations and programming. • This is a part-time, seasonal position with the Edison Township Recreation Department.• Must be able to work June 18 through August 14, 8:30am – 1:30pm; Monday through Friday. Location: Minnie B Veal Community Center• Must be minimum of 18 years old.• Interest preferred in one or more of the following areas: arts & crafts, sports, board games, aquatics, singing, music, skits, recreational games, etc.• Previous volunteer or work experience with diverse populations preferred.• Previous summer day camp experience preferred.• Hourly pay rate up to $22.
