Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observation skills, and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies. This role is vital in maintaining a secure environment and deterring potential threats through proactive surveillance and conflict management.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
• Conduct regular security checks using CCTV systems and surveillance equipment to identify suspicious activity.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, including medical situations requiring first aid or CPR if certified.
• Enforce security policies and procedures, including loss prevention strategies.
• Maintain detailed incident reports and logs of daily activities.
• Assist in controlling access points and verifying credentials of visitors and staff.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
• Manage conflict situations professionally, de-escalating disputes when possible.
• Conduct surveillance using CCTV systems to monitor activity around the premises continuously.
• Provide assistance to visitors or employees as needed while maintaining a secure environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred.
• Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, or related safety training are advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques.
• Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Ability to interpret security protocols and enforce policies effectively.
• Good physical condition with the ability to stand or patrol for extended periods.
• Exceptional observational skills with attention to detail.
