Your Impact
As the Clinical Supervisor, you will be the bridge between our providers and our technical staff, ensuring clinical excellence and operational harmony.
- Lead & Mentor: Oversee the clinical staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure a high-standard of ophthalmic care.
- Elevate Patient Care: Work closely with our ophthalmologists to gather comprehensive patient information, ensuring accurate diagnoses and personalized treatment plans.
- Master & Teach Ophthalmic Testing: Conduct (and oversee) thorough preliminary examinations, including visual acuity, pupillary responses, and more.
- Perform Advanced Diagnostics: Administer and ensure the quality of diagnostic tests such as OCT, perimetry, and ophthalmic photography.
- Assist in Surgical Procedures: Support ophthalmologists during minor surgeries, laser procedures, and crosslinking.
- Optimize Clinic Operations: Efficiently manage patient flow in clinic and imaging rooms, collaborating with clinical staff to reduce wait times and improve the patient experience.
- Maintain Compliance: Ensure all clinical activities, including the administration of eye drops (Certification Required), meet safety and regulatory standards.
- Contribute to Clinic Efficiency: Perform high-level clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring a smooth, organized, and professional workflow.
What You’ll Bring / Requirements
- Leadership Experience: Proven experience as an Ophthalmic Technician with a natural aptitude for leadership or previous supervisory experience.

- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Bonus Points
- COA/COT/COMT Certification: Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) or higher is strongly preferred.
- Prior Management: Experience in staff scheduling or clinical training.
