About this position
Description:
- Leadership & Supervision: Manage, coach, and elevate direct care staff to ensure residents receive appropriate care in accordance with individualized service plans.
- Regulatory Compliance: With Regional Support Team develop, implement, and monitor compliance with all applicable Missouri Department of Health & Senior Services (DHSS) and the Department of Mental Health (DMH) regulations, company standards, and resident rights.
- Resident Care Management: Oversee the completion and ongoing updates of resident observations and service plans. Monitor and reporting of resident conditions with nurse.
- Environment & Safety: Ensure the community maintains a clean, safe, and home-like environment; conduct regular safety rounds, audits, and emergency preparedness reviews, communication with the Regional Support Team of community needs.
- Budgets & Resource Management: Assist in managing community budgets, staffing levels, and supply inventories to maintain efficiency without compromising resident care.
- Accounts Receivable & Payable: Management of collection in partnership with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable team.
- Resident & Family Relations: Build strong, trusting relationships with residents, families and guardians through proactive communication and responsiveness in care decisions.
- Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate, timely, and complete records related to resident care, staffing, and community operations; provide open communication and reporting with the Regional Support Team. Collaboration: Partner with the Regional Support Team to promote overall resident well-being and community business success.
- Missouri RCAL/LNHA License is required with minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare administration preferably in an assisted living.
- L1MA Certification in the state of Missouri is required.
- Insulin Certification in the state of Missouri is required.
- Community Based Assessment Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to residential care facilities and/or assisted living facilities.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
