Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team in a Hybrid MA/GSC position. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and support within our clinic environment. Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the medical practitioner in performing aesthetic treatments and procedures, such as laser treatments, chemical peels, injectables, and other non-surgical procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure all necessary equipment is ready for procedures.
- Perform pre-treatment and post-treatment patient care, including skin cleansing, applying topical anesthetics, and providing aftercare instructions.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including detailed notes on treatments and progress.
- Educate patients on various aesthetic procedures, expected outcomes, and potential side effects.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout their visit.
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and order as needed.
- Handle patient inquiries and schedule appointments.
- Assist in marketing and promotional activities, such as social media posts and patient consultations.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
- Previous experience in a medical aesthetics or dermatology setting preferred.
- Knowledge of aesthetic treatments and procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
