Applicants will go through a professional interview and screening process. Twenty students will be offered paid summer internships. As Technical Interns, students will apply their skills in CAD, simulation, application development, and other software. They will help build 3D CAD models, software demonstrations, online software trials, low-code applications (Mendix), and other exciting technology projects.

Type of Student Desired: Graduating high school seniors from participating Michigan, Ohio, and Texas high schools are eligible to apply for the Career Start paid internship program. This program offers opportunities for students to get a head start on their career. You must be a graduating High School Senior planning to attend a four-year college in the fall of 2026. Minimum requirements to apply:
∙ 18 years of age or older by June 8, 2026
∙ 3.5 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale
∙ Planning to attend college in the fall of 2026
Hours: Students will gain eight weeks of full-time work experience with the option to extend the internship to ten weeks. The internship will run from June 8 to July 31, 2026 (optional to August 14).
