Job Summary
The Roll-Off Waste Collection Driver is responsible for safely operating roll-off trucks to deliver, remove, and transport open-top and compactor containers to approved disposal facilities. This position requires attention to safety, equipment care, and customer service.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate roll-off trucks to deliver and retrieve containers
- Transport and dispose of construction, demolition, and industrial waste
- Safely secure loads and containers
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Operate hydraulic hoist and cable systems
- Maintain accurate service and disposal records
- Communicate professionally with customers and dispatch
- Follow DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class B or Class A
- Roll-off driving experience preferred
- Air brake endorsement required
- Acceptable driving record
- Ability to work early mornings, overtime, and variable schedules
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Frequent climbing, bending, and pulling
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
