About the role

We are seeking an In-Room Dining Supervisor at Hotel Bardo Savannah, our urban resort in the heart of Forsyth Park. This individual will lead the in-room dining operation, ensuring seamless service, elevated presentation, and a consistently thoughtful guest experience. The Supervisor will support daily operations, guide team members, and uphold the service standards that define our Food & Beverage experience.

 

What you'll do

  • Oversee daily in-room dining operations, ensuring timely, accurate, and refined service delivery
  • Lead, coach, and support In-Room Dining Servers to maintain high service and presentation standards
  • Monitor order flow, timing, and communication between the culinary and service teams
  • Ensure trays, tables, and in-room setups are executed with attention to detail and aesthetic consistency
  • Anticipate guest needs and resolve service concerns with professionalism and care
  • Maintain strong product knowledge, including menu items, specials, wine pairings, and dietary accommodations
  • Support scheduling, shift coverage, and team readiness for service periods
  • Ensure accurate payment processing, including room charges and other transactions
  • Uphold cleanliness, organization, and proper tray retrieval throughout service areas
  • Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and brand standards
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Front Office, Housekeeping, and other departments to deliver a seamless guest experience
  • Assist leadership with training, onboarding, and ongoing development of team members

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a Food & Beverage leadership or supervisory role preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with a proactive and service-driven mindset
  • Passion for hospitality and a genuine interest in creating meaningful guest experiences
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Professional presentation and grooming standards
  • Wine knowledge and ServSafe certification are a plus
  • Ability to perform frequent physical movement across various work areas and lift service trays as needed
