About this Role:
- Plan, organize, and oversee daily production activities across SMT, through-hole, conformal coating, final assembly, and test areas.
- Ensure production schedules are met to achieve on-time delivery and customer requirements.
- Monitor workflow, staffing, and production priorities to optimize throughput and efficiency.
- Coordinate with Planning, Engineering, Quality, and Materials to ensure smooth production flow.
- Manage production capacity and labor utilization to meet demand while controlling costs.
Team Leadership and Supervision
- Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors and production personnel.
- Establish clear expectations and hold staff accountable for safety, quality, productivity, and attendance.
- Support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management of production staff.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity, quality, and efficiency.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, throughput, scrap, and labor efficiency
- Lead efforts to reduce waste, improve cycle times, and enhance operational performance.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- 4+ years of production leadership experience required
- Experience with SMT, PCB assembly, and electronic manufacturing processes strongly preferred.
- Experience supervising production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of circuit board assembly processes, including SMT, through-hole, and electronic assembly is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret production schedules, work instructions, and technical documentation.
- Must be US Person
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems preferred.
