Labeler Operator

• Understand and follow Malco’s Quality Policy and Quality Objectives.
• Understand and follow procedures and work instructions applicable to the job function.
• Safely operate a variety of labeling equipment.
• Perform designated quality checks and statistical process control documentation.
• Perform all operations, changeovers, adjustments and cleaning of labeling equipment.
• Utilizes traveler to check for correct components, and label applications specifications.
• Performs cycle counts on components.
• Walks the production line and communicates with employees working on the production line.
• Ability to identify quality issues and make supervisor and / or lab personnel aware.
• Use Personal Protective Equipment as required and follows all safety rules as outlined in “Right to Know” information and Company safety policies.
• Keeps work area clean and neat while following housekeeping procedures.
• Perform related duties as needed by supervision such as utility, machine operator, etc.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to work 5, 8-hour workdays; works overtime as needed for the successful operation of the plant.
• Must have good reading and writing skills / must be able to perform simple arithmetic.
• Must be capable of following verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work as part of the production team.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Must successfully pass any required testing.

May be required to temporarily transfer between plants and / or shift based on business needs
