Full Time Dental Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dental assisting and will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our dental team while ensuring a positive experience for our patients.
Schedule: Monday - Thursday: 8am - 5pm
Key Responsibilities
Chairside Assistance
- Prepare treatment rooms and assist the dentist during procedures (e.g., fillings, extractions, crowns, root canals)
- Hand instruments to the dentist and anticipate procedural needs
- Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment
Patient Care & Communication
- Greet and prepare patients for treatment
- Review medical histories and update patient records
- Provide post-procedure instructions and oral hygiene education
Sterilization & Infection Control
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment according to OSHA and CDC guidelines
- Organize and maintain dental supplies and instruments
- Ensure operatory cleanliness and readiness between appointments
Administrative Support (as needed)
- Schedule appointments and confirm visits
- Assist with billing, insurance processing, or charting
- Maintain accurate treatment documentation
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred
- X-ray certification (Required / Preferred — depending on state regulations)
- Knowledge of Patient Management Software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and team-oriented
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
Salary Information
$18.0 - $23.0
