Front End Shift Lead

Shift Leads are responsible for ensuring a positive customer experience, the smooth function of the Front End, and accurate cash handling procedures during a shift. A Shift Lead’s workday may include providing supervision, support, and training to cashiers; troubleshooting technology and pricing issues; resolving customer questions and complaints; facilitating the movement and counting of cash drawers; opening or closing the store as scheduled; covering for scheduled breaks and other absences; and performing regular cashier duties as necessary. Under the direction of the Front End Manager, Shift Leads monitor the store and report areas that require attention to the appropriate departments. Shift Leads model excellent customer service in person and on the phone, and serve as leaders in the store by providing support and supervision to sales floor staff in the absence of management. This is a full-time, year-round position. Weekends and closing shifts required.
