Primary Responsibilities
- Calibrate sensors and verify/tune control loops
- Optimize system performance across HVAC and building automation systems
- Generate and modify programs in building management software (BMS)
- Perform system backups and database management
- Review and troubleshoot customer issues with effective solutions
- Replace defective sensors, controllers, and reprogram as necessary
- Trace and repair failed communication cables
- Add new devices/programming for system modifications and expansions
- Install and wire control components
- Prepare required administrative reports (expense reports, time sheets, field reports, etc.)
- Maintain strong customer communication and relationships

Position Requirements:
Must-Haves
- Experience as a building automation technician
- Strong understanding of electrical circuits and IP networks
- Proficiency with manual and power tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Ability to travel locally/nationally, climb ladders, work on roofs, and operate in noisy environments
Good to Have
- 2+ years of building automation technical experience
- Familiarity with Schneider, Tridium, Siemens, Johnson, or Trane software
- Skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Degree or certificate from a technical college or university
