About the Role
The Assistant Manager plays a key support role by working across multiple Scenthound locations to ensure smooth operations when Store Managers are off. This position combines leadership, customer service, and hands-on teamwork to maintain high standards of safety, quality, and service.
What You’ll Do
- Support Store Managers by overseeing day-to-day operations at multiple locations
- Lead and mentor team members to ensure dog wellness and safety
- Step in to complete services on dogs as needed
- Drive membership sales through health and wellness education
- Resolve customer concerns and manage client expectations
- Assist with training, scheduling, and quality standards
- Ensure a clean, safe environment for dogs, employees, and customers
Job Type / Schedule
- Full-time
- Weekends required; flexible weekday scheduling based on coverage needs
- Travel between multiple Scenthound locations

What We’re Looking For
- Previous leadership or management experience (retail, restaurant, or hospitality a plus)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability across locations
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and stand for long periods
- Reliable transportation to travel between locations
- Availability to work weekends (required)
