Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate has a passion for food, works well in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in preparing high-quality meals.

Responsibilities:

·        Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards

·        Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen

·        Monitor time and food temperatures

·        Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines according to state, federal, and facility policies and procedures

·        Assist with food prep, stocking, and inventory

·        Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and management

·        Ensure timely and consistent food quality

·        Attend facility in services and training

·        Perform other department duties as assigned by manager

Requirements:

·        Previous cooking or kitchen experience required

·        Experience working with therapeutic diets preferred, but will train

·        Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and able to perform all range of motion

·        Ability to lift 50-75 pounds, stoop, reach, and carry

·        Ability to withstand temperature and humidity changes

·        Ability to work with various cleaning chemicals

·        Strong attention to detail

·        Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Availability to cover shifts in emergency situations

·        Available working hours 5am-1:30pm, or 10:30am-7pm

·        Positive attitude and strong work ethic

·        ServSafe certification or equivalent or be willing to obtain.

 


Salary Information

$15.77 - $23.05 Hourly Wage
