Project 2231 is looking for a Seasoned Grill Cook who knows their way around a fast-paced kitchen and takes pride in delivering consistently great food. If you’re confident on the grill, thrive during service, and enjoy being part of a tight-knit culinary team, we’d like to talk with you.
What You’ll Do
Grill & Line Cook Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items on the grill according to established recipes and standards
Execute dishes with speed, accuracy, and consistency during service
Maintain strong quality control and clean, professional presentation
Communicate clearly with the kitchen team to keep service flowing
Prep & Kitchen Support
Assist with daily food prep to support line operations
Keep workstations organized and ingredients properly stocked
Help unload deliveries and restock supplies
Support overall kitchen operations as needed to ensure smooth shifts
Cleanliness & Organization
Ensure dishes, pots, pans, and flatware are clean and available
Clear and organize the dish window and storage areas
Clean and maintain kitchen equipment (grill, mixers, coffee equipment, pans)
Sanitize the dishwasher and triple sink at the end of shifts
Sweep, mop, take out trash, and help maintain a safe, clean kitchen environment
What We’re Looking For
Experienced, confident cook with solid kitchen fundamentals; prep, grill, fry, scratch experience, batching, knife skills, culinary background, etc...
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Strong time-management, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to stand or walk for up to 8-hour shifts and lift at least 20 lbs.
Commitment to food safety and sanitation standards
Must be at least 18 years old
Afternoons, Nights. Weekend availability (including Saturday and Sunday) is required for all positions.
Holiday availability (except Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmans) is required for all positions
