Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Product Manager to join our Product team. As a Product Manager, you will take on a more independent role in driving product development and delivery. You will understand customer and market needs, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, assist in defining product strategies and roadmaps, and ensure successful product releases. The Product Manager is the liaison across internal departments to ensure key goals and initiatives are aligned with the strategy and product roadmap.  The Product Manager is well-versed in agile software development and SaaS practices and plays an important role in driving the development and implementation of new products.


Key Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy: Contribute to the development and communication of the product vision and strategy.
  • Product Roadmap: Contribute to roadmap for assigned product areas.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify customer needs, trends, and competitive analysis.
  • Customer Insights: Engage with customers and gather feedback to understand their pain points, requirements, and opportunities for product improvement.
  • Requirements Definition: Translate customer insights and business requirements into detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Backlog Management: Guide and assist Product Owners in maintaining and prioritizing the product backlog, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impact product delivery.
  • Product Development: Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and data science teams to deliver high-quality software products, ensuring on-time and within-budget releases.
  • Agile Methodology: Participate in and ensure adherence to Agile development methodologies to realize the efficient delivery of features and enhancements.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data and analytics to make well-informed decisions and continuously optimize product performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, sales, customer support, and other teams, as required to ensure successful product launches, adoption, and support. Communicate and train internal stakeholders on product enhancements and new product launches.
  • Other tasks as assigned: Perform other tasks as required to ensure successful functioning of team and delivery of products on schedule and budget.  May include tasks typically assigned to more junior Product team members.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of delivering successful SaaS-based products.
  • Automotive industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with AI / machine learning and data science technologies preferred.
  • Experience with Agile development processes.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite, product usage tracking tools (Pendo, GainSight, etc.), UX design tools (Figma), strategy and road mapping tools (Aha!), and ticket tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.) strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • A passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

This position is primarily remote, with occasional travel requirements of up to 10%.
