Joyner Family Insurance is seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Insurance Agent for our Client Support Team to oversee day-to-day account management, service and communication for our valued clients. This role is responsible for account management, including policy servicing needs, supporting the renewal review and rewrite process, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring accurate documentation and exceptional client experiences. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong coverage knowledge, proactive problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering personalized service while identifying opportunities to strengthen and expand client relationships.

Requirements:

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily client communications and service requests, ensuring timely and professional responses.
  • Support the renewal review and rewrite process by preparing submissions, proposals, and coverage comparisons.
  • Educate clients on coverage options, explain policy provisions, and assist with reviewing risk exposures to ensure appropriate protection.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and recommend additional lines of business to enhance client portfolios and overall protection strategies.
  • Process policy changes, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, certificates of insurance, and related documentation accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with insurance carriers, underwriters, and internal team members to resolve issues and maintain high service standards.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation within the agency management system.
  • Provide claims support by facilitating communication between clients and insurance carriers throughout the claims process.


Qualifications:

  • Active Licensed Insurance Advisor (4-40, 2-20, or 20-44 licenses acceptable)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new software
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized and time management skills
  • Must be a team player and willing to collaborate with colleagues
