We are seeking compassionate and two dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – Board Certified (PMHNP-BC) positions in Fairbanks & Anchorage, Alaska.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $134,250 – $173,739 annually
Signing Bonus: Up to $25,000 (based on length of commitment)
Time Off:
5 weeks (200 hours) PTO in first year
8 weeks (320 hours) PTO starting second year
PTO includes 8 observed holidays + 2 floating holidays
Retirement: 401k with immediate vesting
Up to 5% company match
3% automatically contributed by employer
Increases to 10% company match after 3 years
Insurance: Two healthcare plan options for employees and dependent children
Schedule: Full-time, exempt | No evenings, weekends, or call
Position Summary
The PMHNP-BC will provide psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and continuity of care to clients in an outpatient setting while working as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations
Provide medication management and treatment planning
Maintain timely and accurate documentation
Review labs and renew medications
Collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, and medical staff
Follow organizational policies, procedures, and quality standards
Qualifications
Master’s degree from an accredited program
PMHNP-BC certification
Unrestricted Alaska RN and APRN license
Prescriptive authority and current DEA certificate
Community mental health experience preferred
Qualified PAs, DOs, and MDs are encouraged to apply
