The Corporate Finance and Accounting Manager plays a critical role in supporting a 400+ employee organization by overseeing core accounting operations and key FP&A processes with a strong focus on accuracy, scalability, and continuous improvement. This role partners closely across the organization, collaborating with business leaders, vendors, and employees, and reports directly to the Corporate Director of Finance with dotted-line reporting to the Assistant Corporate Controller to support the company’s financial operations and growth.

Salary Information

$90000 - $110000 Annual Salary

Requirements

 Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Lead annual budget and periodic forecast preparation, partnering with department leaders to develop accurate forecasts aligned with company objectives
  • Prepare and maintain monthly departmental Budget vs. Actual (BvA) reporting, including variance analysis and actionable insights for leadership
  • Maintain and administer FP&A systems and tools, ensuring data integrity, reporting accuracy, and continuous process improvement

Workforce & Compensation Planning

  • Maintain and update staffing rollforward models, tracking headcount, hires, departures, and compensation impacts
  • Manage and reconcile Roster Compensation data to ensure alignment between HR, payroll, and financial reporting
  • Support workforce planning analysis in partnership with Finance and People Operations

Accounting & Month-End Close

  • Serve as Month-End Close preparer for payroll and payroll-related accounts, including:
    • Payroll journal entries
    • Accruals and related reconciliations
    • Benefits, bonus, and compensation-related accounting
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of payroll-related financial reporting and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Own the Accounts Payable (AP) function, including oversight of invoice processing, coding accuracy, approval workflows, and payment execution
  • Support broader month-end close activities, including expense accruals and continuous improvement of close processes 

Operational Finance & Data Maintenance

  • Maintain Ramp tracking and maintenance, ensuring accurate reflection of hiring timelines and cost impacts within financial models
  • Improve processes connecting payroll, HR data, accounting records, and financial forecasts
  • Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, FP&A, and PeopleOps to strengthen data consistency across systems

Qualifications:

  • 5–8 years of hands-on experience in corporate accounting, including payroll, AP, journal entries, account reconciliations, audit, or a hybrid accounting/finance role, preferably within a high-growth or professional services environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CPA-track preferred)
  • Demonstrated ownership of month-end close processes, including payroll, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with Finance, HR/PeopleOps, and business leaders to support planning and reporting initiatives
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, or variance analysis
  • Comfortable working with and improving financial systems and data workflows, including ERP/accounting platforms and FP&A tools
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including modeling, reconciliations, and data analysis
  • Experience leveraging modern workplace tools (e.g., collaboration platforms, document management systems, workflow tools) to improve efficiency and transparency
  • Ability to lead or guide junior team members without direct oversight and contribute to a collaborative, scalable finance organization
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-directed and proactive, with strong research skills and problem-solving skills and a mindset focused on continuous improvement

The salary for the Corporate Finance and Accounting Manager role will range from $90,000 - $110,000. Salary is determined based on current market data and candidate experience level.
