 JOB SUMMARY:

The Accounting Manager will oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, compliance with regulations, and the preparation of timely financial reports. This role will play a critical part in driving financial accountability, supporting strategic initiatives, and improving processes to align with company goals. 


CORE POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Oversee all aspects of the general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable

· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP 

· Monitor cash flow and manage budgeting processes in collaboration with department heads 

· Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations 

· Prepare and oversee audits 

· Identify and implement improvements in accounting processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy 

· Provide financial analysis and forecasting to support strategic decision-making 

· Collaborate with senior leadership to develop long-term financial strategies 

· Management of the Accounting team which includes direct reports 

· Other duties as assigned.


Requirements

 MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, CPA (preferred) 

· 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role 

· Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting regulations 

· Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, NetSuite, SalesForce, and SAP Concur (preferred) with the ability to integrate systems. 

· Experience with KPI metrics and Power BI 

· Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills 

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally 

· Proven track record of implementing process improvements and driving efficiency 

· Must possess and maintain valid driver’s license and any other endorsements necessary to legally operate vehicles used while assigned to this position
