The ideal candidate will have experience working with pediatric patients, possess a passion for growth, and find purpose in serving children... PERIOD. The qualified candidate will be able to assess and diagnose a wide range of conditions, as well as develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on medical necessity.Responsibilities:2 years of clinical experience is preferred, but not requiredOpportunities for COTA supervision w/ Bonus PayEvaluate, diagnose, and treat clients within a multi-disciplinary clinical settingConduct comprehensive evaluations and develop effective individualized treatment plans for patients with physical, mental, or emotional disabilities.Develop home programs and provide parent education/coachingCollaborate with OT, ST, PT, ABA, PYSCH, and parents/caregiversEvaluate and assess patients' needs and abilities on an ongoing basisDevelop and implement effective treatment plans and revise plans accordingly and as needed Provide therapeutic interventions to improve the patient's quality of lifeInstruct patients and families in the use of adaptive equipment and techniques, as neededProvide education to families and caregivers on how to support the patient's progress.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS PEDIATRIC OTR
Spanish fluency is a PLUSNC License and AOTA CertificationAt least (2) years of pediatric experience preferred, but NOT requiredEarly Childhood Intervention experience is a PLUSExcellent Communication skills
