Position Summary: The General Maintenance Technician performs preventive maintenance and corrective repairs across assigned facilities. This role supports daily facility operations and assists with emergency and urgent maintenance response.

This role supports a potential contract.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks
• Execute corrective maintenance and minor repairs
• Respond to maintenance service calls and urgent work requests
• Assist with stabilization of emergency conditions
• Perform basic HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks
• Support parts pickup, material staging, and tool handling as needed
• Accurately document work performed in the work order system
• Follow all safety and access requirements

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• 4–6 years of facilities maintenance or general maintenance experience
• Working knowledge of common building systems and repair techniques

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience in secure or government facilities
• CMMS experience
